Dear all, I am trying to reinitialize my etoken without any success. I am using RTE 3.65. I read similiar post on this topic but I cannot find the proper solution. My etoken has only user password set (i.e. when I initialized it the firs time I did not select administrator password option). I already made the proper registry modifications (i.e. change value to 31 decimal). FIPS is off in etoken proprties. When I try to initialize the etoken I get the following error: "Smartcard Security Object is blocked". The first thing that looks strange to me is that I am not asked for my user password to reinitialize the etoken (maybe it is because administrator password is empty and FIPS is off?). For all other purposes (signature, etc.) the etoken seems to work correctly. I also tried the same using RTE 4.55, that time the error is "reader or token error". Thank you in advance.

I have just remembered I set up a reinitialization key the first time I used the token. Where am I supposed to supply this password in order to reinitialize the token? I found a compatible field in "Advanced" button within the initilization window (RTE 4.55), then "Change Initialization" key, the field "Use specified initialization key". However I get the same error and the reinitialization fails.
Thank you for your support
