when installing a rte3.51.msi programe I receive error "the current ie version is less then 5.00. installation will stop" . where as I am having ie version 6 on my machine . please suggest.

Please install new version of RTE 3.65 or RTE4.0 this will support your ie. you can also contact vendor for RTE 4.5
