Hi if anyone could help for the following
1)eToken password is blocked(because i tried to change the default password to new one several times as everytime when i change it said AUTHENTICATION FAILED) 2)properties look like the following USER : present Admin : Not Present FIPS : OFF I have no idea what to do now? I could see my certificate in the IE>TOOLS>CONTENT>certificate>personal anyway but if there is anyway to see the advanced tab? Also in the forum, many posted that Initializing is equal to Formatting...if so what is the DISADVANTAGE...is that mean that THE CERTIFICATE ITSELF WILL BE DELETED and should we need to apply for a NEW DIGITAL CERTIFCATE WITH USB etoken? kindly let me know please venkat 9840682147 |

Dear venkat
If eToken is blocked you can not unblock it.Only you can inititialize(format) eToken, after initalization etoken will work as fresh new eToken with default password 1234567890. During itialization you will loss your certificate, if you had backup of certificate you can again import your certificate in token. |

Dear Sharad, thanks for your reply.
I have also mailed to helpdesk@tcs as well as the retailer and they told me to send them the ETOKEN to reset the password and send it back to me..I hope that will be worth it to try I thank once again for your message |
