The user manual says that it can be formatted using etoken Utilities 2.0 which can be downloaded from http://www.isecurity.info/downloadSoft/downloadfiles/utilities/msi

But, this link dows not seem to work. Does anybody know of a new link?

Thanks for the link, but after installing the RTE, changing the necessary registry enry to 31 etc. etc. I am still not able to initialize the etoken as an error message popup saying "Invalid security object" comes up.

I have successfully initilized the etoken earlier, but this time what is the problem I am not able to understand.

thats why I was asking for the utilities 2.0 which included a separate functionality of formatting the etoken. I have a 32k model, so it should not be a problem in getting formatted.

This is continuation of the private massege sent by you to rajesh as he is not in office i am replying on behalf of him.
Please Check the status FIPS mode in the eToken Properties. If it is ON you can not initialize eToken. In that condition you send eToken to us we will replace it.

Thanks for the prompt reply. No the FIPS mode showing is still not on.
